CYBERPATH AND GENERAL DATACOMM ANNOUNCE THE SIGNING OF AN OEM AGREEMENT FOR FAST ETHERNET SWITCHING

Piscataway, NJ October 14 2003--CyberPath, a leading developer of Ethernet switches and General DataComm, Inc. Naugatuck, CT (GNRD) a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of network access products for service provider, government, and private enterprise networks entered into an OEM agreement whereby General DataComm will private label a managed Layer 2 switch produced by CyberPath under the name, InnovX FastSwitch 24.

The "InnovX FastSwitch 24" is a secure, Ethernet managed switch that provides performance and features supporting LAN based enterprise applications. The InnovX FastSwitch 24 delivers 24 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports and supports up to 2 additional gigabit Ethernet uplink ports. The uplink ports can be individually configured for copper or fiber cables and connectors for short/long distance modes of operation. The InnovX FastSwitch 24 supports full layer 2 features and is designed for plug-and-play installation and can be remotely managed. Advanced features include Radius security, SNMP and RMON as well as Web browser interface, Telnet and Command Line Interface.

General DataComm is well known for high-quality, managed and secure network access products that serve the telecommunications industry including modems, DSUs, Multiplexers, LAN extension and Ethernet Switching devices.
